Opelika Songwriters Festival Comes to Downtown

Downtown Opelika will be the home to the inaugural Opelika Songwriter’s Festival. The brainchild of local duo, Martha’s Trouble, Rob and Jen Slocumb, and in cooperation with The Sound Wall, Russell Carter Artist Management and East Alabama Arts, the festival will bring over 40 artists to downtown this weekend. Keep Opelika Beautiful is sponsoring a citywide litter pick up day this Saturday, March 3. Help take part in keeping our city litter free.   This Saturday there will be over 200 volunteers cleaning 30+ sites in Opelika. You can join in on your own or by contacting Keep Opelika Beautiful to be assigned a group or location.
